Do curfews debase juvenile crime or take out citizen freedoms? Curfews be ineffective and just punish all kids, good and bad. It is reasonless to think teenagers will follow a curfew of 10 p.m on week days and midnight on weekends. It implies they are non responsible, rash and too impulsive to be trusted in the posterior hours of the evening not to get into criminal mischief. A curfew for teens is not effective and not constitutional. The ninth includes the right to privacy which could mean the right for parents to give care with their children the way they see fit. Finally the fourteenth includes the right to travel. By the constitution we have the right to meet with people and move at anytime for no reason at all as part life in a free society.
