The crew teamed up with the known Russell Crow to shine a light on unrivalled of the worlds most insanely brilliant community that has ever lived, John Nash. The film not only lured in millions of people but also received four Academy Awards including best picture. A Beautiful Mind shares many emotions including laughter, suspense, discernment boggling situations, and slight sorrow. While watching the movie I couldnt help but feel included in Mr. Nashs life.
John Nash was brilliantly portrayed in this film. The movie fey on actual achievements that professor Nash had accomplished. At the age of 21 he wrote a twenty seven page subject explaining his concept of Nash Equilibrium. This would lack the recognition of his peers early on but would grow tremendously over the decades. It would create a corner stone for economics and is used to this day to presage economical trends.
John was doing well for himself. He had established himself as a genius on campus even though he rarely attended class at the University of Princeton.
After graduating, he was introduced to his future wife while teaching a densification class at MIT. Although he was blessed with a unequaled mind, it always came with a price. Over numerous years of stressing at Princeton while developing new ideas and theorys and proving past math problems, he develops paranoid schizophrenia. John has a psychogenic breakdown during a speech performed in front of peers, because he hallucinates and believes he sees Russian spies coming to dispose of him and his knowledge he has acquired. The messages John Nash decoded in his mind derived from various magazine and newsprint articles that of which he believed were from the soviets about nuclear warfare.
