In this case their wee a ethical issues that had to do with the corporation and the individuals involves with it. control identity card member were untrusting and also used work phones and emails to let out information to the public. George Keyworth was not a ethical person because he leaked confidential information and also let a probe be opened, instead of being honest. CEO Dunn showed an ethical lieu and was forced to resign by board members, which describes the other board members to be unethical also.
2. Who are the stakeholders impacted by this line? How would you rank their claims? Everyone related to this company is affected by this situation. Investigators and employees didnt want to observe involves because they didnt want to investigate their induce bosses or be involve in conflicts of interest. I envisage their claims were reasonable but dont calculate deed should be taken upon them.
But to prevent this issue there should be a policy or clause addressing this issue with its consequences so it doesnt happen again.
3. Was the investigation into the recurring countersign leaks ethical? Why or Why not? What action would you recommend that a company in a similar situation take? I dont think this was ethical. I dont think information discussed in a board should be discussed or brought to the media unless they are doing something illegal. Without candor and trust these board members will also have these issues. I think policies and consequences should handle situations like this.
